Credit Card Comparisons
Credit cards come in all different shapes and sizes so deciding on which type of card is right for you depend on a number of differing criteria. How you intent to use your card such as repayment patterns (do you pay your balances off each month), annual spend amounts, types of purchases can greatly impact the type of credit card you should opt for.
The main types of credit cards are basic no frills cards (usually low interest rate), reward cards, gold cards, platinum cards, cash back cards. Interest rates can vary by as much as 10% between the types of offers and annual fees can also vary by as much as $300 between some platinum reward and low interest rate products. Remember nothing is free, so the more rewards or other card benefits you receive the higher the interest rates and fees are sure to be.
Therefore comparing credit cards is about first identifying the type of card you require and then comparing cards within that category type.
